Requirement: New Engine Manufacturing Centre

Airwright Midland was asked to provide VCUK with full access and scaffolding requirements to enable the construction of a new engine manufacturing centre for one of the UK’s leading car manufacturers. The main scope of works was edge protection, HAKI staircases for access, loading bays, birdcage and tower scaffolds.

In addition to the main scope of works, Airwright constructed a large number of design scaffolds in partnership with Reactive Design. These scaffolds consisted of temporary weather protection screens, large laydowns to steelwork, viewing platforms, bespoke loading bays and buttressed free standing scaffold structures.
